Q: Will the Teraflex steering Stabilizer shock fit with the factory hardware?
A: Yes, the Teraflex steering stabilizer shock will install with the Jeeps factory hardware. Teraflex supplies the correct sleeve in the kit, to work with the factory bolt.
Q: Does the rubber bushing side or the flex end of the control arm go toward the frame?
A: The rubber bushing goes to the frame.
Q: What do I do if my swaybar links are too small to fit on the stud mounted on my axle?
A: If you have a metal sleeve in the bushing it needs to be removed and discarded. Push the center metal sleeve out from the swaybar link mounting on the axle end.
Q: I’m installing your SYE kit and I can’t get the SYE shaft to go into the transfer case. The SYE shaft is too large of diameter.
A: Remove the bearings from the transfer case, as stated in the instructions, so the new SYE shaft will fit.
Q: If I put a Teraflex lift kit on my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, can I still use my factory electronic Swaybar Disconnect?
A: Yes you can!
Q: Can I still use my factory Jeep wheels with my lift kit?
A: Wheel spacers are needed for using factory Jeep wheels.
Q: Why is my steering wheel crooked after coming off the trail?
A: You may have a bent track bar, drag link, or the bolts in the lower front control arms have slipped.
Q: On the Teraflex front track bar for TJ, XJ and ZJ, can the frame side tie rod end be replaced with out replacing the entire track bar?
A: No it can't.
Q: Can i change the input gear to a different spline in my Low 231 transfer case?
A: Yes! Check out our install video on you tube.
Q: If the bushings in my control arms wear out do I need to replace the whole control arm?
A: No you do not. Teraflex offers replacement bushings.
Q: I want to install a 231 short shaft kit, what else will I need?
A: A CV drive shaft is required and adjustable rear control arms allow for pinion angle adjustment.
Q: I have a Teraflex ESS and the speedometer has sporadic readings.
A: Try tightening the output yoke nut, the tone ring may be slipping on the main shaft.
Q: How much oil does the Tera CRD 60 take for a correct fluid level?
A: It takes around 2.5 quarts, you want the fluid level approximately 1" up the axle tube.
